Consistent flight deals

This was my third time using Cheaptickets.ch, and they're always reliable. This time I booked Hin- und Rückflüge ab Basel, and as usual, the prices were very competitive. I've tried other sites, but I keep coming back here because of the consistent good value. The booking flow is familiar now, which is a plus. Got my travel insurance through them too, which simplifies things.

Good price, minor hiccup

I used Cheaptickets.ch for a Städtereise, booking Flüge ab Genf. The price for the flights was excellent, probably the best I found after checking a few places. The booking process was straightforward enough, and I received my E-Tickets promptly. My only minor gripe was trying to add Zusatzgepäck after the initial booking; it wasn't as intuitive as I'd hoped and I ended up calling customer service. They sorted it out quickly, but it added an extra step. Overall, a good experience for the price, just a small point for improvement on the post-booking options.

Easy flight booking

I booked Gabelflüge ab Zürich for a trip recently. The process was super smooth, and I found a great deal. The site was easy to navigate and I got my E-Tickets quickly after payment. Definitely shopping here again for my next travel plans, and I've already told my friends about it!

C ChrisG 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
7
S StefanM 2 weeks ago
Ja, scheint so.
1
A Anna87 2 weeks ago
7
A Anna87 2 weeks ago

S SaraR 24 minutes ago ✓ Best Answer

S SarahB 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer

S StefanR 1 month ago
Guter Punkt mit den Flex-Tickets! Das ist echt Gold wert bei Unsicherheiten.

Ja, oder ne gute Reiseversicherung. Sonst zahlt man drauf.

1
C ChrisK 1 month ago
Same here.

Do they accept TWINT for payments? Or is it just credit cards and stuff like that?

F Faith H. 1 month ago
I think it's mostly credit cards and maybe PayPal. Don't remember seeing TWINT as an option when I booked my last trip.
6
D Derek Whitfield 1 month ago
Pretty sure it's just the standard Visa, Mastercard, AMEX. I don't recall seeing TWINT there, but it wouldn't hurt to check the payment page before you finalize things.

Has anyone used one of their discount codes before? I have a code for 20 CHF off, but I'm looking at a super cheap EasyJet flight. Will it even apply?

C Cleo 1 month ago
Nah, pretty sure those codes usually don't work for budget airlines like EasyJet or Ryanair. It's usually in the fine print.

C Cleo A. 1 month ago
I tried using one on a Wizz Air flight once and it didn't work. I think most coupons are for the regular carriers, not the no-frills ones. You just enter it at checkout to see if it works though.

Hey, thinking of booking flights for a trip to the US, specifically from Zurich to NYC. How long does it usually take for the e-tickets to come through after booking?

N Nina V. 1 month ago
Mine came pretty quick, like within an hour or two after I booked my flight to London last month. Definitely faster than some other sites I've used.
5
B Beth 1 month ago
Yeah, usually it's almost instant for me. Sometimes if it's a super busy period or a less common airline, it might take a few hours to process, but you'll get an email once they're ready.

L LauraM 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
12
A AnnaL 2 weeks ago

5
A AnnaL 2 weeks ago
Schade!

7
A AnnaL 2 weeks ago

Is CheapTickets.ch legit? Like, are they a real, trustworthy site for booking international flights, or should I be worried about fake tickets or something?

S Sophie Kaur 2 months ago
Yeah, totally legit. Used them for years for flights to Asia and never had an issue. It's a big, established company.

K Kate 2 months ago
They're part of a bigger travel group, so not some fly-by-night operation. Always got my tickets, never had problems with my bookings at the airport. I'd say they're reliable.
